Cronos (CRO) History and Overview

Cronos (CRO) is a cryptocurrency with ample usage and following due to its utility. Tied to the Crypto.com wallet, the CRO cryptocurrency can be used to store crypto, make everyday payments, and even trade crypto. It is one of the cornerstone assets of the DeFi sector, with its actual adoption pushing the value of CRO, the native token of the Cronos blockchain, steadily up. The Cronos blockchain is an EVM-compatible chain designed to support the Creator Economy. It has multiple applications, such as DeFi and GameFi, serving as a foundational infrastructure for the Metaverse. @AndyStorm: Thanks for your comment. My index reflects the Top25 crypto assets based on market cap. Not based on my opinion. ;-) It´s 100% rule based. $CRO and $HBAR just made their way up into the Top25 and that´s why I added them. Those cases also occured in the past. --> $INJ, $SUI, $NEAR were all added after significant gains and they still continue to rise and established them in the Top25.

To buy now $HBAR after made a 5x already in November, looks not a good decision IMO. $CRO also made 3x already. Maybe should wait for a pullback on these.

With that, we also submitted the monthly rebalance of BLX as per our parameters.

We added Aave ($AAVE) with a weight of 0.28%, Immutable ($IMX) with a weight of 0.32%, and Injective Protocol ($INJ) with a weight of 0.27%. Filecoin ($FIL), Cronos ($CRO), Hedera Hashgraph ($HBAR), Maker ($MKR), Cosmos ($ATOM), and Arbitrum ($ARB) have fallen out of our parameters and have been removed from the structure.

Among existing assets, $BTC and $ETH have been rebalanced to 40% and 30%, respectively. The biggest other change was reducing the weight of Solana ($SOL) by 1.24%.
