ICONOMI is phasing out certain public Strategies in the European Union
At ICONOMI, we are committed to providing secure, transparent, and regulatory-compliant services for our users. As the cryptocurrency landscape evolves, so do the regulatory requirements we must meet. To ensure full compliance with the upcoming MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulations, we are making adjustments to certain public Crypto Strategies.
Why are these changes necessary?
The MiCA regulations, set to take effect soon, require stricter guidelines on how Crypto Strategies operate, particularly regarding risk management and user asset protection. While these changes are focused on safeguarding users, they also impose limitations on some existing public Strategies.
Our primary goal is to ensure that:
User assets are held in a manner compliant with MiCA regulations.
ICONOMI continues to provide services aligned with the highest industry standards.
This decision has been made to not only meet regulatory requirements but also to strengthen trust and transparency with our users.
Who is affected?
These changes affect users in the European Union who are copying public user-led crypto Strategies. Public Crypto Strategies for users outside the European Union remain unchanged.
What Will Change?
Sell-only mode:
Starting Thursday, 16 January, the affected Strategies will switch to sell-only mode. This means no new investments can be made into these Strategies.
Asset transfer to new portfolios:
Thursday, 30 January, any assets remaining in these Strategies will be automatically transferred to one of our new portfolios.
All user-led Strategies become private:
On 30 January, all user-led Strategies will become private and will no longer be listed publicly.
Introducing new portfolios
To continue offering investment opportunities that align with regulatory standards, we are introducing new portfolios. These portfolios are specifically designed to comply with MiCA regulations while offering secure and optimized investment options.
For example, the ICONOMI Top25 Dynamic Portfolio provides exposure to the top 25 digital assets (excluding stablecoins), rebalanced bi-monthly for flexibility and high-volatility opportunities.
Alternatively, the ICONOMI Top25 Balanced Portfolio focuses on stability and growth, with 50% allocated to stablecoins and bi-monthly rebalancing.

What do you need to do?
We recommend taking action before 30 January to ensure a smooth transition:
- Explore and transfer your assets to one of our new portfolios.
- If no action is taken by the deadline, your assets will automatically be transferred to one of the new portfolios.
